Colin Longren, Lead Instructor

Colin grew up in Eagan Minnesota and started playing hockey at age 7. He attended Eastview High School where he played 3 years of high school hockey. Freshman year he was fortunate enough to be the only goalie on JV, gaining a lot of experience and being named most improved player. Sophomore and Junior season was spent on the varsity high school team. Colin’s senior year of high school was spent playing Junior hockey for the St. Paul Lakers of the MNJHL here in Minnesota.

After graduating from high school, he pursued his hockey career further and played in the MNJHL for 2 seasons being named "Hardest Worker" of Twin Cities Northern Lights in 2007-08. Colin served as the goalie coach for Rosemount High School boy’s and girl’s programs in 2009-2010 and is currently the goalie coach of Andover High School girl's program.

Colin is attending the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in pursuit of a career in sales. With Colin's experience playing the position, along with his dedication to learning the game and how it has evolved, he has been a tremendous asset to MEGA and a fan favorite of the kids.
